This listing is for the Schwinn Custom Cruiser bicycle as shown. This bike is based on a 1990s European delivery Schwinn aluminum frame that has been heavily modified , including removal/replacement of cable stops, kickstand and other annoyances. The tank is 1992 anniversary Schwinn with dummy button(no horn) It is painted in the style of Crocker Motorcycles, with a three color finish. The gold is Schwinn Coppertone , which is a difficult paint to apply and there’s clear coat over all decals. The pinstripes were done professionally by a “car guy”. There’s a very nice original “ Ace ” head badge . I added a 1990s RST suspension fork . The wheels are early Shimano Deore disc laced to painted Velocity (dyad?) alloy rims with black stainless spokes and alloy nipples. Tires are Thickslick 26x2.0 and are great on the street . The cranks are painted Campagnolo with 39/53 chainrings. The pedals are Redline BMX sealed bearings from 90s and are 9/16”. The brakes are Tektro Novela Levers/shifters are Shimano Deore LX rapid fire The seat is a nice Gyes weatherproof leather and leather lock on grips. . This bike is suitable for riders 5’2”-6’3”, I built bike for taller riders who don’t fit a DX. This Frame is 19”tall 24” reach (48 and 61cm ) The fenders are 1950s Colson balloon tire . Dare I say that this is pretty much the ultimate development of a “Schwinn “ cantilever frame ? It’s got great geometry and handles the road as well as dirt with ease . The whole thing weighs 35 lbs as shown. This bike performs wonderfully , it has smooth gears and tons of brakes. You can easily remove tank and fenders and put knobby tires on it and it’s a great klunker. At one point I had 700x45 wheels and tires on it. You can be sure of the built in quality and attention to detail in this (and any) bike from me. It will last a very long time and ride nicely the whole way. Payment to include 5 S+H in USA. Thanks
