Peugeot Road Bicycle 1970s Vintage Touring road bike, well maintained. Buyer pays shipping. Only for sale within the Continental U.S.A. Please review the photos as they are part of the description.  This is a larger frame bicycle. It measures 25 inches from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat . The original tires were dry rotted on the bicycle so I added two brand new tires. The bicycle goes through the gears and brakes as designed. Rides quite nicely. I did a 5 mile ride on it and it handled wonderful. Simplex gears and Lyotard pedals. Cotter pin cranks as was customary on bikes of that era. Nice bicycle time capsule in the desirable large frame. The original leather saddle has some scrapes on it as seen in the photos. Matching original chrome Rigida Chrolux 27 x 1 1/4  wheels. Simplex derailleurs and shifters. Mafac brakes. The bicycle can also be picked up here in central N.J. if the winning bidder wishes to save on shipping costs. If shipping is desired, the bicycle will be carefully disassembled and protected with foam and bubble wrap and shipped in a sturdy cardboard bicycle box.
