    Description

    Hello and thanks for checking out this listing of a pair of very cool Mavic XC717 MAXTAL aluminum alloy clincher rims for rim brakes and 36-hole hubs. These 26" rims were gathered as overstock from a high-end bicycle shop and will come to you in the lovely "NOS" new-old-stock condition seen in the included photographs.
    ***DESIRABLE RIM BRAKE-COMPATIBLE VERSION***
    These rims feature robust construction with a rim depth of 18.7mm, external width of 22.3mm, and internal width of 17mm. Classic silver color is perfect for your modern classic MTB, and eyeleted double-walled construction make for a sturdy wheel build. Add in Made in France style and that lovely "SSC" decal and you have a legendary rim.
    Quite lightweight at just 430 grams per rim.
    Overall condition is a conservative 9.9 out of 10 with some faint burnishing from "shop wear" during storage over the course of many years.
