THIS QUICK RELEASE STYLE WILL FIT ON HELF SHELL / BEANIE HELMETS THAT HAVE THE VERY THIN FABRIC HOLDING YOUR D-RINGS ON SINCE THE CUT OUT IS VERY SMALL ON THIS STYLE QUICK RELEASE - THIS STYLE WILL NOT FIT FULL FACE / DIRT BIKE HELMETS - IF THAT IS WHAT YOU NEED THEN GET OUR OTHER ONE WITH THE WIDER CUT OUT - If you have a strap de flapping button on the end of your strap you will have to simply just pop it off with a butter knife - it is no longer needed with this quick release as it comes with a slide that stops your strap from slapping anyway.  Simply hooks on to your D-Ring Fabric loop - please check that you can at least fit 3 pencils in your fabric loop that has the D-rings - if you can then you can simply attach this Helmet quick release -  if you don't have that much space then order our regular style RydeWear Quick release with the larger cut out
