    Description

    Good Luck Token.  Issued by Allenite Tips, one presumes a reference to a shoelace tip.  In the shape of a Horseshoe, more unusual for a Good Luck Token, and likely early 20th Century.  Holed, meant to be strung on a string and attached to a pair of shoes, similar to the commonly seen "Willow Calf" shoe token.  A bit rough - looks like it came out of the ground at some point. About 29mm by 35mm overall, struck in brass.
