I’m in the process of upgrading my digitalsetup, so I am listing my beloved dcs Delius and Purcell. These are all located in Rochester, NY, also listed on
the on
-line site Audiogon (kind of an ebay for HiFi components).
If you’ve come upon this ad, you likely have heard of these.  The DCS components are about 20 years old and would have retailed for ,000.  They sound as fantastic as they did at that time and there really has not been a tremendous amount of change in this technology.  They will take your digital sources to that analog sound.  I used an Esoteric DV50s to feed the DCS Purcel which upsampled the sound and then went through the delius.  I also took a digital signal from a macbook and fed it through the components the same way with excellent results.
Both units have the same cosmetic issues of scuffing and scratching across the top front and top back. Supersize the photos and look closely. Sonically though, these are excellent.

, but they work wonders as a set.
There is a remote control for the delius - there was no remote to specifically control thePurcell.  I actually used a universal remote to control everything.
The DCS and Purcell are not the firewire versions of either but is absolutely beautiful sounding when going to 24/192 which has been my standard for the past several years. The units are sonically perfect, cosmetically, these are for listening versus trophy displaying.  The pictures should give you a good idea, most of those scratches on the front top and back top were there when I bought them. I’m sure I’m guilty of putting them in a tight space too. The top glass was replaced when I bought the delius and that is new - both glass plates are in excellent condition
