Check it out before you go that route. Dealers are charging 0.00 ~ 0.00 and more to install the BRP upgrade bar kit due to the level of difficulty and time involved. Some have purchased the BRP upgrade bar thinking they would do the install themselves. Only to give up and have it done by the dealership.
My Bar Kit for the Ryker is Very Easy to install. Especially when compared to the BRP bar kit.
Add to this that the BajaRon Custom Performance Sway Bar looks and performs better than the BRP upgrade bar.
The BajaRon Custom Performance Sway Bar Kit comes with Chromoly and Billet Aluminum End Links which replace the Composite Plastic End Links supplied with the BRP upgrade bar kit.
Plastic end links stretch under load and reduce the function of the sway bar. Plus, they are subject to breakage.

The All New Can-Am Ryker is an amazing machine! Not only is it affordable and extremely easy to ride. It also brings a great deal of performance to the table. The Ryker has heads turning as it Carves Up the Road.
The Ryker does handle well right out of the crate. But you will see a significant improvement after installing the BajaRon Custom Performance Anti-Sway Bar Kit.
You may have heard that installing an upgrade sway bar on the Ryker is extremely difficult. This is true if you are installing the Factory, BRP upgrade sway bar. But NOT true of the BajaRon sway bar kit for the Ryker.
This Custom - High Performance Sway Bar will make a world of difference that you can feel right from the first ride, and every time you round a curve in the road, pass a big truck on the highway, or encounter strong crosswinds. All without increasing ride height or giving your Ryker a harsh or stiff ride.

A Sway Bar is a stabilizing component of your front suspension, it
IS NOT
a Shock Absorber.
A Sway Bar resists
Lean Angle
and is completely neutral when side force is not present. The more the side force, the more the Sway Bar works to counteract Lean Angle. It is a Seamless, Progressive Process which effectively Transfers 'Weight' from the (Heavy) outside wheel to the (Light) Inside Wheel, giving you a flatter, more controlled turn. Users refer to this effect as
"Feeling like you're on Rails!"
Lean Angle occurs when you turn, in a strong crosswind, or anytime there is sideways force causing your Ryker to lean to the left or to the right.
The combination of a Larger Diameter and High Tensile Strength Steel of the BajaRon Anti-Sway Bar increases tire contact and traction with the road surface while reducing Lean Angle. You get flatter turns, better handling, more control, less weight shift and less wheel lift, greater stability and better traction in turns.
Installation is relatively simple and straight forward. My Custom Performance Anti-Sway Bar is an exact replacement for the original equipment bar. Installation is much simpler than installing the BRP upgrade bar kit. *But it does require you cut off the stock sway bar. Otherwise, there are no special tools required. Most can do this job in 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
You will need a Sawzall or cutoff grinder to cut the OEM sway bar. A hand hacksaw can also be used, though this will take a bit longer.
