    Up for bid is a Vintage drag racing jacket from Irwindale Raceway. Expect wear from age and use. Note some damage from moth holes. Jacket has some fading. Lining has stains and holes. Please study pictures closely for details on condition. Jacket was made by Whiting of Los Angeles California. Factory Size 42. Jacket is embroidered “Record Holder 6.74 230 M.P.H” And “Bob”. “Bob” could refer to NHRA powerhouse Bob Glidden.
    A similar jacket was in the collection of NHRA Founder, Wally Parks. His collection was sold in 2004 to benefit the NHRA Motorsports Museum. There is also a similar example at the NHRA Museum, Pomona, CA.
